​How Long Will My Shop Order Take?

All Jessica Light's products are hand-made and hand-woven to order, and as we don't keep stock, this means that your order may take a little time so please be patient.The only items in stock are from the Wares collection but these are either one-off or limited edition.

We try and despatch our orders as quickly as possible and the timescale is usually 5-21 days. I'm not Amazon. You will receive notification of your order with the above information and another email once the items have been despatched. As a micro artisanal business, at the moment, we only despatch orders on a Monday.

Can I Order a Bespoke Colour Of Any Of Your Products?

Yes, if you would like any of our trims or tassels in bespoke colours, please contact us with your specifications.

Do You Give A Trade Discount?

Yes, please contact us on info@jessicalight.co.uk and we can discuss your requirements. If you are ordering large quantities* over 50+ units I may be able to give a wholesale price.

Bespoke Design, Colour-matching, and Commission Service**.

Jessica Light offers a full bespoke, design and colour-matching service. Please contact for more information, but a good starting point is to look through my existing products on the shop and my passementerie collections and archive, to get an idea of the design scope, materials and products I produce and send screenshots of what you like, the budget you have and the time frame you're looking at. It is also good to send any swatches of fabric and/or colour samples [e.g paint] that you want matched to. This all helps the process move smoothly and makes it quicker for me to  give you a quote on costs and lead-times.

Any samples made for approval will be charged.

Lead-times for this service starts at 4-12 weeks.

Samples.

You can order up to 2 small trim samples [over 4 will be changed] or I can send yarn colour swatches. If you wish to order samples please contact me.I do not send out tassel samples.

Postage.

U.K. All postage is with Royal Mail using 48 hour tracked and signed.

International orders are tracked and should take 5-15 working days.

Can I Return My Items?

Made to order products are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive faulty, wrong product sent or have been damaged in transit. If any of those are the case please contact Jessica Light within 14 days for advice and return the faulty product with the receipt so we can either replace it or give a voucher.

DO YOU TEACH WORKSHOPS?

Making, designing and producing Passementerie is my full time job so unfortunately I don't have much space to teach public workshops. I do maybe one or two public workshops a year. Details of these will be in my news section or my Instagram. If there is nothing showing then nothing is happening so please don't email me asking when the next one is. All workshops will be posted with plenty of notice. 

I also don't do courses or one-to-one teaching sessions, again this is due to time constraints, so please don't email asking.

I don't often take on apprentices unless they are funded as there isn't a job at the end of the training. If this changes, again, it will be advertised on my websites or Instagram so, again, please don't email. I get very heavy email traffic and my customers and clients have to take president so reply times for other enquiries can be long or not at all.
